Do NotWorry

Three of the hardest words Jesus ever said — and he didn’t leave us to white-knuckle them.

Do not worry

Is my job secure? Are my kids safe? Will this test come back clean? Worry rarely announces itself. It just runs underneath everything else.

In Matthew 6, Jesus speaks to anxiety directly, and his answer isn’t a technique. He points to wildflowers in a field and asks us to consider what they say about the God who dresses them.

“The antidote to worry is not different circumstances, but a different perspective on who God is and who you are as His child.”
Jonny Ardavanis, Consider the Lilies

On November 8, Jonny Ardavanis will preach on God’s solution to anxiety.

Come as you are, and bring someone with you.

If anxiety has become heavier than you can carry alone, our counseling ministry is here, any week of the year.
